🚗 Prevention Priority 🔒

As mentioned in my previous posts this month, one of our key priorities on the #ValleyBeatTeam is tackling theft from motor vehicles.

As part of this work, I’m making it one of my personal missions to share simple, practical advice to help keep your vehicle and property safe.

Here are a few easy steps you can take to reduce the risk of vehicle crime in your area:

1️⃣ Always lock your vehicle
2️⃣ Close all windows and the sunroof to prevent “fishing”
3️⃣ Secure number plates with tamper‑resistant screws
4️⃣ Fit locking, anti‑tamper wheel nuts to protect alloy wheels
5️⃣ Secure any items on the outside of your vehicle
6️⃣ Take it with you or hide it – ideally remove all valuables when unattended
